Travel grants
1. ECOSS 27 is sponsored by the European Physical Society, which entitles some participants to apply for EPS funds.
In particular, at least two participants with an abstract accepted will be partially financed from this source.
Please read the conditions here. The processing of these applications requires advance planning.
2. Women from developing and eastern European countries may apply to the IUPAP/UNESCO travel grant program.

Applications for funds (that will only be handed to participants upon arrival to Groningen)
in case 1 must be made to the conference chairperson:

together with two reference letters sent directly by the referee to the same address.
Applications for funding are expected to include all the following information:
- Full name; date of birth; nationality; status (if you are Dr. or student, etc.);
Institution; full postal address; phone and fax; e-mail; graduation date, title and discipline;
institution of graduation; brief curriculum vitae since graduation; list of scientific publications (or at least your best and most recent ones;
give title of paper, journal, volume and page numbers, authors).
- Motives for wishing to attend the ECOSS 27, and the title of the abstract that you have already submitted.
- Name and affiliation of two referees that will send a letter of recommendation directly to Prof. Dr. P.Rudolf.
- Please indicate also:
- if you or your research group or institution hold a grant from which participation in the event could be funded.
If yes, what percentage of your expenses will this grant cover;
- the minimum amount of grant from us that would allow you to attend the Seminar.
- Any other observation that you would like to mention.
- Please, sign and date your letter, and fax or first-class mail it, together with a copy of your passport,
as soon as possible to Prof. Dr. P. Rudolf at the address indicated above.
