This international conference is held nearly every year with the goal to bring together scientists working on the field of surface science and increasingly also of nanoscience and -technology. The ECOSS 27 conference is organized by the University of Groningen. The scientific program will include studies on atoms, ions, molecules, clusters and nanostructures on surfaces, imaging and microscopy, electron and optical spectroscopy, metrology as well as investigations with synchrotrons, lasers and plasma sources and associated technology and analytical techniques.
Groningen has developed into a very popular town for scientific conferences; the very attractive conference location “Martini Plaza” will make ECOSS27 an outstanding event. Compared to previous conferences of this series we expect a further increase in participation with up to 600 registered attendants. This will give you the opportunity to promote your company and present your latest developments to a large community of potential customers.

Martiniplaza is one of the largest conference centres in the Netherlands, which provides space for the congress as well as the vendor exhibition. The vendor exhibition will be opened on Monday, August 30th.

The “Conference Major Exhibitor” will have an outstanding representative position in all conference related workshopss. During the conference several exclusive opportunities for displaying the company logo will be provided throughout the whole week. During the Conference the Conference banner will be shown in the main theatre hall on the screen during all breaks. In addition to the Conference logo the company logo will be shown on this banner.

On Monday afternoon August 30th 2010 the opening of the vendor exhibition will take place accompanied by an aperitif and a few snacks.
The conference dinner on Thursday evening September 2nd is the major social event during the conference. Within the frame of a luxurious meal ample time for a short welcome address from a representative of your company will be provided.

In the conference schedule a coffee break is planned every morning. Coffee and cookies are served in the foyer of the Martiniplaza Theater, where also the vendor exhibition will be held.
